2026 TERM 3 BOOKINGS NOW OPEN!

Teen Art Studio

A Creative Space Where Teenagers Can Unwind, Create and Thrive

The teenage years are filled with pressure.

School, exams, sport, part-time jobs, social media and the constant pace of life can leave many young people feeling overwhelmed and mentally exhausted.

Sometimes what they need most isn't another activity focused on performance or achievement; they simply need space to breathe.

At Little Art Studio, we've created a calm, welcoming environment where teenagers can switch off from the outside world, reconnect with their creativity, and enjoy the simple satisfaction of making something with their own hands.

Whether your teen is an avid artist or has never picked up a paintbrush before, they'll be encouraged every step of the way in a supportive, non-judgemental space where creativity is celebrated.

More Than An Art Class
Our Teen Art Studio is about so much more than learning to paint.
It's about helping young people build confidence, develop resilience and discover the joy of creating without the pressure of perfection.

Every session gives teens the opportunity to:

  • unwind after a busy week

  • express themselves creatively in a safe environment

  • develop confidence through achievable success

  • strengthen focus, patience and problem-solving skills

  • enjoy meaningful time away from screens and social media

  • connect with other creative young people

  • experience the satisfaction of creating something uniquely their own

There are no grades.
No competitions.
No pressure to be "good at art."

Just encouragement, creativity and the freedom to explore.

  • Guided creative sessions

  • Canvas and all art materials

  • Acrylic paints and brushes

  • Access to our artwork collection and inspiration resources

  • Templates available for selected designs

  • Individual guidance and support

  • A relaxed and welcoming studio environment

Why Creativity Matters

Research continues to show that creative activities play an important role in supporting young people's mental wellbeing.

Studies have found that engaging in visual arts can:

  • reduce stress and anxiety

  • improve mood and emotional wellbeing

  • increase self-confidence and self-esteem

  • strengthen resilience and emotional regulation

  • improve concentration and attention

  • encourage healthy emotional expression

  • foster a sense of belonging and connection

Many parents tell us their teenagers leave the studio feeling calmer, more relaxed and genuinely proud of what they've created.

Sometimes the greatest gift we can give young people is permission to slow down.

Why Parents Choose Little Art Studio

  • Parents love knowing their teenager is spending two hours each week in an environment that encourages creativity, confidence and wellbeing.

  • Our boutique classes are intentionally small, allowing every student to receive personalised guidance and encouragement.

  • Instead of spending another afternoon on a screen, your teen will enjoy a hands-on creative experience that develops patience, perseverance and confidence; skills that extend far beyond the art studio.

  • Every completed artwork becomes a reminder of what they're capable of achieving through practice, creativity and persistence.

What Makes Little Art Studio Different?

At Little Art Studio, we believe creativity belongs to everyone.

Our goal isn't simply to teach teenagers how to paint. It's to create a place where they feel safe to try, free to make mistakes, and encouraged to discover what they're capable of.

We celebrate grace over judgement, progress over perfection, and curiosity over comparison.

Because every time a young person has the courage to pick up a paintbrush, they're learning far more than artistic techniques. They're building confidence, resilience and the belief that growth comes through trying, not through getting everything right.

We hope every teenager leaves the studio feeling calmer, more confident and proud of what they've created.

Not just because they've finished a painting.

But because they've discovered something even more valuable along the way: a deeper belief in themselves.
