Join us for any of our three 3-hour art workshops and lots of creative fun designed to keep kids engaged and inspired during the school holidays.

Week 1:   Ocean & Sand

Focused on acrylic techniques for sea textures, painting iconic beach boxes, and bold sunset canvases.

Time | Duration:

9:30 AM - 12:30 PM (3 hours)

Who is it for:


Children ages 8-15

What your child will create:
 

  • One 11" x 14" canvas painting – explore acrylic techniques to capture sea textures and coastal scenes

  • One fabric-painted tote bag – design and decorate a personal, reusable canvas bag with ocean-inspired motifs

  • One painted ceramic plaster ornament – bring a small ceramic plaster piece to life with colour and texture, adding a three-dimensional element to their creative week
     

Skills and techniques covered:
 

  • Acrylic layering, blending, and brushwork

  • Colour mixing and texture creation

  • Fabric painting techniques for durable designs

  • Hands-on 3D painting experience


What is provided: 
 

  • All essential painting supplies for canvas, fabric, and plaster projects

  • Acrylic paints, brushes, palettes, water cups, and aprons

  • A safe, supportive studio environment for fun and learning
     



 

 

 

Week 2:   Tropical Fruits


Sessions covering vibrant colour mixing, still life painting of summer fruits and pop-art inspired food illustrations.

Time: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM (3 hours)

Suitable for: Ages 8-15

What your child will create:

  • One 11" x 14" canvas painting – vibrant tropical fruits using acrylic techniques to explore colour, shape, and composition

  • Fabric-painted tote bag – decorate with bold, fruity designs for a personal wearable art piece

  • Ceramic painting – bring a ceramic sculpture to life with vivid colours and textures
     

Skills and techniques covered:

  • Acrylic painting techniques including blending, layering, and brushwork

  • Colour mixing and creating realistic textures

  • Fabric painting methods for durable, wearable designs

  • 3D painting skills on ceramic plaster surfaces

  • Developing composition and visual storytelling through themed projects
