Acrylic Painting Classes
for Teens & Adults

Who is it for:

Anyone ages 13+ looking for a beginner-friendly art class where you can learn to paint, connect with other like-minded people and express your creativity.
 

When do classes run:
 

• 7:00 - 9:00PM on Tuesday Nights (during the School Terms only).
   

Fee Structure: 
 

• $180 per 4-week course

• $350 for 8-week course 

What we offer:

• Students may enrol in either: 
   

  • 4-week Foundations Course as an introduction to acrylic painting

  • 8-week Foundation Course + Creative Application Course for deeper exploration and continued growth.

• Small groups, with personalised guidance and hands-on instruction. Individual feedback and support in a small group setting.
   

• You’ll learn foundational acrylic techniques, build confidence, and develop your own creative voice in a supportive and relaxed environment.
   

• Each session is thoughtfully structured to encourage creativity while offering clear skill progression.
   

• All materials - paints, brushes, canvases, aprons.

Skill focus and learning outcomes:​

• In the 4-Week Course (Foundations) participants will learn:

  • Acrylic paint basics and studio setup

  • Colour mixing and colour harmony

  • Brush handling and textures

  • Simple composition and focal points

  • Light and shadow to create form 

  • Best for beginners wanting to build confidence and core painting skills.

• In the 8-Week Course (Foundations + Creative Application) course participants will deepen skills and also learn:
   

  • More advanced colour control and layering

  • Texture techniques and expressive brushwork

  • Composition refinement and visual storytelling

  • Painting subjects such as landscapes and still life

  • Developing personal style and completing a resolved final artwork

  • Best for students wanting skill progression, creative confidence, and a stronger body of work.
